Flights to Brazil

Hello. I have some free time in July and really want to go to Sao Paulo,Brazil to visit a friend and see some football. I thought flight prices might not be too high due to July being in the Brazilian winter, but I've looked around and can only find very high prices that I just can't afford. I was thinking of travelling on the 21st July and returning on the 31st July but I can be a bit flexible with those dates but would have to be July. So was just wondering if anyone would be able to find any flights for this period, or if you have any advice. Was wondering if I waited until the summer and looked for last minute flights would I find cheaper flights or would the prices go up further? Any help/info will be very much appreciated. Thank you. Flight with Iberia or TAP are generally cheapest. I have just booked a flight São Paulo-Paris via Madrid for 700 euros for june ..

I used to work for Dialaflight...you should always check them out for any flights that are long haul!!
