Leandro Damião

Messagepar jim » 13 Janvier 2012, 21:09

Posted this on one of the news stories, but thought i'd add it here too.

Make or break season for Damiao, but he has all the attributes to be a great centre forward, i suppose the Libertadores will be the test for him if they get past that first qualifier. Group with Santos awaits i think, if anyone can verify this. Then a summer move to Europe maybe?

As an MUFC fan, I would be ecstatic. Though, I think he needs to prove himself for a second season first. It is a tough one. A lot of money to spend.

First post here and Thanks Chris atkins i love the podcast been listening to it for awhile. I'm against damiao moving to United and really think another year in Brazil will help his game. Why would he want to move to united with all those strikers?

I honestly don't think he will move to the Premier League. Spain or Italy is a much better option..although I won't be surprised if he stays in Brazil.

I think it is a straight fight between Leandro Damiao and Hulk to partner Neymar.

Maybe one who would have benefited from an earlier move to Europe, as his former team mate Oscar has...

Maybe...but the incentive to stay in Brazil has never been greater. If he scores goals in Brazil he will almost certainly make the 2014 World Cup squad. If he moves to Europe and flops.....the chances of him being at the World Cup are unlikely, I think Neymar might be thinking the same thing!
