After more than three months since he last stepped on the pitch, the Brazilian is still focused on getting back in action.

Ligue 1 chose to void their season early and PSG were recently crowned champions amidst the coronavirus pandemic crisis.

However, Les Parisiens still have the Champions League to worry about. Neymar was a key figure for his side as they overcame Borussia Dortmund to advance to the quarter-finals of the competition.

The Brazilian last featured for PSG on the 11th of March but is already looking forward to get in the thick of things again.

The French Champions resume training in Paris on Monday and Neymar has revealed he is super fit and ready to go for the club once again.

“We have a strong group, we achieved a historic classification for the quarterfinals (of the Champions League) and now we are focusing on the goal. I trained a lot in the last months, with the same intensity and dedication, but I miss the heat of the game. I can’t wait to go on the pitch and, God willing, make history” Neymar said via a post on his Twitter account.

PSG have dominated on the domestic front with seven out of the last eight Ligue 1 titles but they have failed to translate that to the continental front with the Champions League.

To stand any chance of winning the competition, PSG will need Neymar to maintain the form he has shown so far. The 28-year-old has been one of the most influential names in the PSG lineup this season, scoring 18 goals and assisting 10 in 22 total appearances.
