Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus is grateful to have played under so many decorated coaches in his short career.

Aged only 22, Jesus currently plays under Pep Guardiola at club level and Tite at international level.

The Brazilian told Globoesporte that he takes something from each of the coaches he has had. “I think that every person who goes through his career can teach something new, show something different.

“Cuca was very important, as were Oswaldo, Marcelo, Alberto Valentim, Micale. Everyone made me evolve, and that's how it is today with Guardiola at City and Tite in the national team.

“Each has his own way and way of viewing the game. You adapt and take a little of each to grow.” Jesus left Palmeiras for Manchester City in January 2017.

When pressed on whether he might return to Palmeiras to win another title one day, the player was non-committal.

“I don't know. I am very blessed, I always say that. I always played with great players, strong teams, and the titles came naturally because of that. I'm at City, I'm very happy for the club and the future belongs to God.”
