Tite Hopeful for Bruno Guimarães Brazil Future
Brazil coach Tite says he is hopeful that youngster Bruno Guimarães can give his team some of the qualities it is missing.
Guimarães recently signed for Lyon from Athletico Paranaense and Tite says there is a role for the 22-year old if he continues to develop.
“We currently lack a ‘relay’ midfielder. A player like Falcão in the past. Or like De Bruyne today, able to play sometimes lower to help Casemiro and make the game start again, sometimes higher to bring more binding, creativity, speed and rhythm.
“Bruno Guimaraes, who just signed for Lyon and was the best U23 player qualified for the Olympic Games, has enormous potential and can be that player. I also think of Lucas Paqueta who plays for Milan.”
