Liverpool midfielder Fabinho says he is confident of his side landing their first league title in 30 years this season.
The Reds lead the table by a colossal 16 points and are very much on course to land the league title for the first time since 1989-90.
When quizzed as to whether his team would win the league on French show TF1, Fabinho simply replied, “Yes
“I hope we will not crack. It’s incredible this season. We have a lot of confidence to continue like this. Several players evolve at a very high level.”
The Brazilian also opened up on his difficult start to life in England after taking a couple of months to land a starting place at Liverpool.
“There was a change, it was a bit difficult when I started at the club, but then he made me join the team.”
The player is in contention to return from injury for the weekend clash against Manchester United at Anfield after picking up an ankle injury in November.
“My ankle is better, I trained alone this week. I am touching the ball again, I feel good and I feel confident,” he said.
