Spurs forward Lucas Moura says he and his teammates were disappointed with their 1-1 draw away at Middlesbrough in the FA Cup 3rd Round on Sunday.

Bereft of Harry Kane, Moura started upfront and scored the equaliser after Boro had taken a second half lead, but the Brazilian says the team were disappointed not to win.

“The feeling is a bit bad,” Moura explained to Spurs’ official website, “Because we had opportunities to win this game. But we fought and now we will fight again in the next game.

“It was a tough game and we know in our last games that we are not in our best form and we need to improve some things.

“Today was a good opportunity to win and to play well, but I think we made the same mistakes that we made in the last few games.

“But at least we didn’t lose and we know that we have the replay now, so we need to take this week to reflect and improve.

“I was happy to score again today, the FA Cup is a great competition and we have the opportunity to win that trophy, we will give everything to win this competition.”
