Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus admits he is still learning to cope with the pressure of being a striker at City.

The Brazilian scored a hat trick against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League this week, but admitted he still needs to learn to be calmer in front of goal.

“When I’m not happy with myself I want to shoot myself in the head, because it’s difficult for me. I take it (personally) of course. I think, ‘Oh my god I have to score, I have to score, I have to score.’

“When I have the chance sometimes I miss because I think too much and put too much pressure on myself. I try. I’m getting better. I’m working to score and not thinking about the pressure.

“I say, ‘Well, next game’ — but like I say, sometimes it can happen that you don’t score and I can’t be happy with myself. But I keep working and try, try, try.”
