Spurs winger Lucas Moura says he is enjoying being used in his natural position since the appointment of Jose Mourinho as Head Coach.

The Brazilian had been used through the centre by previous manager Mauricio Pochettino. Moura has started both of Mourinho’s games in charge on the wing.

He scored in the 3-2 win over West Ham on Saturday and provided an assist in Spurs’ 4-2 Champions League win over Olympiacos on Tuesday.

“Every player wants to play, it doesn't matter the position," he told reporters after the 4-2 win over Olympiacos. "But everyone knows I am not a No.9, it is not my best position.

“When Pochettino put me there I always gave my best because for me the most important thing is the team but each coach has one opinion, a different mind.

“Now I feel very good in this position. I always played in this position, I feel good and I am happy.” Moura says he and his teammates are enjoying the new era under Mourinho.

“He said he believes in us, that he trusts in us and that we have a lot of quality," he added.
"He said we have everything to do our best, a very good structure and very good fans and that we just need to believe in it and be happy on the pitch and after about tactics you can see… simple.”
