Brazil left-back Renan Lodi admits that Tuesday’s 3-0 win over Korea for the Seleção represents a huge relief.

It was Brazil’s first win since the Copa América triumph in July, with three draws and two defeats since.

Renan says he and his teammates are relieved to have ended that barren run in Abu Dhabi with a 3-0 victory over Korea.

“Brazil is the biggest team, everyone knows this and everyone sees we had some negative results.

“Since Copa América we haven’t won and this was our first victory so for all of us a huge weight has been lifted.”

Lodi clocked up two assists for Lucas Paquetá and Danilo and the Atletico Madrid man says he feels at home in the Seleção.

“This was my fourth game and I think I am getting better with every game. Since I arrived everyone has received me very well.

“I think I have taken my opportunity in the best way possible.” Renan was substituted in the second half complaining of pains in his knee.
