Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson says that his side are not yet thinking about this weekend’s top of the table clash with Manchester City yet.
The Reds welcome Genk to Anfield in the Champions League on Wednesday, but the Liverpool goalkeeper says his side will take one game at a time.
“We think only about Genk, not the Man City game. Genk are a strong side. If we think about Man City we’ll have difficulties. We need to make another step in the Champions League,” he said.
The Brazilian also says his side’s penchant for late goals is giving them extra confidence, “It gives us the confidence to keep fighting.
“We can also learn some things because sometimes we concede goals when we can do better. It always annoys me when we concede stupid goals.
“When we go on the pitch we have a common goal – to win the game and keep a clean sheet. We can work better on that aspect.”
