Filipe Luís Says No Issue With Neymar’s Father Being in the Dressing Room
Filipe Luís says he and his teammates had no issue with Neymar’s father being in the dressing room after Neymar’s ankle injury against Qatar.
Neymar turned his ankle and the injury rules him out of the Copa América. The distraught player was visited by his father in the dressing room after the match.
Tite doesn’t ordinarily allow anyone other than players or staff in the dressing room, but has confirmed he made an exception on this occasion.
Filipe Luis says it didn’t represent an issue for the team, “In 2010, when I broke my leg, the first person at my side in the locker room was my wife.
“The only thing I wanted to be was with her, she was holding me. If she was not, it would be awful at a difficult time.
“Everything that was happening to him then he twists his ankle, if his mother was there he had to go down his sister, everyone. The dressing room is sacred, but the family is sacred.”
