Fágner Returns to Brazil Training
Brazil right-back Fágner says he will re-join full training this week, after undergoing treatment for a thigh injury.
The Corinthians man suffered the injury during his team’s Copa Sul-Americana tie with Deportivo Lara a few weeks ago.
As a result, he missed Brazil’s pre Copa América friendlies against Qatar and Honduras, but he will resume full training now.
“Unfortunately, I missed some games,” he told SporTV, “But these are things that happen in a player’s career.
“Now I am free and ready to start training with the group on Monday.” Brazil have already had to replace Neymar due to injury, but Fágner will not need replacing.
Brazil begin their Copa América campaign on Friday evening against Bolivia in the Morumbi in São Paulo.
