Alisson Relishing ‘Biggest Game of my Life’ In Madrid
Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson says he and his teammates are relishing the Champions League Final against Spurs in Madrid next weekend, describing it as ‘the biggest game of my life.’
The Reds face Tottenham on June 1st, bidding for their sixth European Cup. Alisson, who has been training with his teammates in Marbella, says he cannot wait.
“Once we finished the Premier League, there were 20 days to prepare the final. I’m looking forward to playing this big game. It’s maybe the biggest game in my life. I can’t wait.”
Alisson clinched the Golden Gloves award for the season after keeping 21 clean sheets in the Premier League in his debut season.
“It was such an honour, such a big award in the world of football. The award is not just mine, it’s an award for my teammates also, who work hard to keep clean sheets in the game. It’s a target for everyone,” he told liverpoolfc.com.
