Chelsea defender David Luiz has accused Burnley of time wasting tactics after the teams drew 2-2 on Monday evening at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea were upset with the visitors for time wasting tactics and Clarets keeper Tom Heaton was booked as early as the 31 st minute for taking too long over a goal kick.

A frustrated Luiz told Sky Sports, “It's anti-football. Losing time all the time, especially when you have the ball. Their players went to the floor and stopped the game.

“They were playing 11 inside the box. It's difficult to score against a team like that. It's difficult when you play against a team who have two chances and score two goals and didn't want to play the game.”

The draw puts Chelsea back into the top 4, but having played a game more than Arsenal, who travel to Wolves on Wednesday evening.
