‘The Result Was Bad’ Admits Tite
Brazil boss Tite says he was dissatisfied with Brazil’s 1-1 draw against Panama in Porto on Saturday. The Seleção took a first half lead through Lucas Paquetá, but were quickly hauled level by the Panamanians.
Brazil couldn’t find the breakthrough in the second half hitting the crossbar twice. “The result was bad,” Tite admitted in his post match press conference. “The first half performance was below our expectations. The second half was normal with all the changes we made.
“Facing a team with five defenders and four in front of them made it difficult for us. But at the break we could reorganise and the second half was normal. The first half was below average and the result was bad.”
Brazil now travel to Prague for a friendly against Czech Republic on Tuesday evening, they will still be without Neymar and will make changes after fielding an experimental line-up against Panama.
