The CBF have announced that Brazil will play a friendly against Colombia in Miami on Friday, 6 th September.

It will be the Seleção’s first friendly following the Copa América in June, which will take place on home soil for Tite’s side.

The fixture will take place in the Hard Rock Stadium, kickoff time to be confirmed. The nations have met 30 times before, with Brazil winning 18, losing 3 and drawing 9.

The Hard Rock Stadium holds 70,000 spectators and has already hosted 5 Super Bowl Finals and the Miami Open in tennis.

It will be Brazil’s third match in the stadium, where they defeated Honduras 5-0 in November 2013 and Colombia 1-0 in September 2014.

The game will form the first part of both teams’ preparations for 2022 World Cup qualifying, which gets under way in March 2020.
