West Ham United winger Felipe Anderson says that his recall to the Brazilian national team is ‘a dream come true.’

Anderson has been called into Tite’s squad for March friendlies against Panama and Czech Republic, it’s his first call since 2015.

The former Lazio man says it is reward for his hard work under Irons boss Mauricio Pellegrini. “It is a very good feeling, a dream come true,” he told SporTV.

“A lot of work that I have been doing and collecting these fruits. It’s not only this year that I have this focus, it’s been for long time that I have been working to reach this moment and this is an achievement that makes me very happy and very motivated.”

Anderson says his increased freedom is a big factor in his recall, with Pellegrini deploying him on the left and on the right, with freedom to roam.

“I played a lot of time in Italy, five years, always on the right. This year now at West Ham, I talked to the manager and he said he wanted me to play on the left, that he saw me very there. And it worked. So I think I feel free to play in every attacking position.”
