Brazil captain Neymar says that he cried for two days after his latest foot injury, which has again derailed his season with PSG.
Neymar broke his metatarsal last February, keeping him out for 3 months ahead of last year’s World Cup.
The player suffered a similar injury again against Bordeaux at the end of last month and the PSG star says this injury has been more difficult to cope with.
“I think this time was more complicated than the first. The first time it happened I said, ‘ok, let’s have the operation and get back quickly.’
“I didn’t have this feeling of sadness. This time I spent one or two days at home, just crying.” Neymar missed PSG’s 2-0 win over Manchester United last week.
He is also likely to miss the second leg of that Champions League tie in Paris on 6 th March.
