Alisson Rues Liverpool ‘Insecurity’
Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson admits that his team suffered from ‘insecurity’ during Monday night’s 1-1 draw with West Ham at the London Stadium.
It’s the second time in a week that the Reds have dropped presentable points and their lead at the top of the table has been slashed to just 2 points.
This has led to suggestions that Jurgen Klopp’s side are feeling the pressure of the title race and Alisson did little to allay those claims with his post match summary.
“I believe we had glimpses into the game. Some moments of insecurity. “We started ahead. [But] from the moment we started to miss some passes – some silly passes that we are not used to missing – I think the team lost a little confidence in the match.
“I think the opposing team also gained confidence. We have to be prepared to fight everything. All the adverse circumstances that come our way.
“I believe our team is on the right track. Now we do not have much room for hesitation. If we want to be champions, we have to win everything from now on.”
