‘It is only in my head to work hard’ Says Coutinho
Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho has refused to entertain speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United.
Coutinho moved to the Nou Camp from Liverpool for a deal worth £114m last January, but is struggling to break into the starting XI at Barca.
Throughout January, the player has been linked with a move to Manchester United. But after scoring twice in a 6-1 win over Sevilla on Wednesday, Coutinho broke his silence.
“Nobody knows what will happen in the future,” he told beIN SPORTS. “I’m happy after a few difficult moments. I’ve never stopped working. All I have in my head right now is to work hard.”
Coutinho was bought as the midfield heir to Andres Iniesta, but has been unable to nail down a place in midfield.
