Rio de Janeiro

Maracanã is the most famous soccer stadium in the world. It has hosted two World Cup finals (1950 and 2014) and currently has the capacity to receive 78 thousand people. Curitiba

In Curitiba, two stadiums stand out: Arena da Baixada, more modern because it has been renovated for use in the World Cup, and Couto Pereira. The former has hosted four World Cup games, while the second has more than 80 years of history and has already received a memorable game of the Brazilian National Team: in 2001, by the Cup Qualifiers, a 2-0 victory over Chile that marked the start of Brazil towards the classification for the World Cup. Public transportation in Curitiba is the best option to reach the stadiums.
