Chelsea defender David Luiz paid an emotional tribute to teammate Cesc Fabregas, who is due to leave the club this month.
The Blues midfielder is set for a move to Monaco and played his final game for the club against Nottingham Forest on Saturday in the FA Cup.
“I think Cesc is one of the best players to have played in England for many, many years,” he told talkSPORT. “It was emotional, not just for him, but for everybody.
“Maybe he is not going to play for Chelsea anymore so we are sad, but we wish him all the best because he is a great character and a great player and we will miss him.
“It’s always hard, but it’s always part of the process.” Fabregas missed a first half penalty, but his side were 2-0 victors over Forest.
