Everton striker Richarlison has impressed since joining the club from Watford this summer, with 8 Premier League goals this season, but the Brazilian insists that he is striving to improve still. The forward has won a place in Tite’s Brazil squad with his form so far this season, with 11 strikes in all competitions. But the player has no intention of resting on his laurels.
He told evertonfc.com, “In general, I’m really happy with my goalscoring but I’m looking to improve, and I will continue to train really hard,” he said. “I’m looking to be up there with the top scorers, the other great players.
“I want to continue helping my teammates out and score more goals. Against City, I would have helped the team out if I scored that chance and I was upset not to finish it. But I’ll keep my head up and look to next week where I hope to score.
“We know how difficult it is to come City and play. We’re a young team, we’re still developing. And Marco Silva will work to correct the mistakes we made during the week ahead of the Tottenham.”
