Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus says the arrival of his family from Brazil to Manchester has helped him to settle into life in England. The player signed a new contract with the club recently.
Despite having scored only 1 Premier League goal so far this season, Jesus says having his family with him in England has made him feel a lot happier about living in England. “I’m happy again. My family arrived. I’m very happy, very happy.
“They have been helping me a lot when they are in Brazil, now that they are here, it makes me happier, more free. Just thinking about playing football. That’s all that was missing.” But the striker admits his form is a concern.
“Sometimes you get stuck in the past,” Gabriel Jesus told Esporte Interativo. “What happened, what’s happening. I demand a lot from myself. It’s far from being a start of season like last season for me.”
