Klopp Adamant Fabinho Will Not Leave Liverpool
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says there is no way Fabinho will leave the club in the January transfer window.
The Brazilian joined The Reds from Monaco in the summer for a fee of £45m, but has struggled to make an impression.
The player admits that he is still acclimatising to life in England and at Liverpool, leading to rumours that Liverpool might be tempted to cash in already.
However, in his Friday press conference, Klopp dismissed the idea that the Brazilian midfielder would be allowed to leave so soon.
“If he was one for the future and settling, he played three of the last four and did well. It was all good.
“Now the most intense period of the whole season is coming up. He has used the time to adjust to what we want him to do.
“He has done really when he has played. Of course he will not leave. It’s the crazy world out there that if he doesn’t play the last five games then [people say] he will leave.”
