Ronaldinho Gaucho scored plenty of picture book goals during an illustrious career that saw him turn out for the likes of PSG, Barcelona and AC Milan.
But the now retired 2002 World Cup winner says his winning goal in the World Cup quarter- final against England stands out as his all-time favourite.
With the scores locked at 1-1 and Brazil down to ten men, the Seleção were awarded a free- kick around 40 yards from goal.
Ronaldinho spotted England ‘keeper David Seaman off his line and proceeded to lob him, with the goal proving to be the winner.
“I scored some great goals, some overhead kick goals and from open play in my career and I would admit it is very hard picking my favourite,” Ronaldinho told Goal.
“But scoring for the national team and against England in the quarter-finals was quite something. For that reason, I will pick the one against England just because I scored it for Brazil.”
