Liverpool midfielder Fabinho admits he is still adapting to life at Liverpool, with a new tactical setup to adjust to and plenty of competition in his preferred position.

The Brazilian joined the Reds in May from Monaco for a fee of £47m, but has struggled to get game time, often not even featuring on the substitutes’ bench.

Fabinho confesses he is still adapting, but he is still confident of having an excellent career at the Merseyside club.

"There are a lot of differences [between Liverpool and Monaco]," Fabinho told Goal.com. "The way we play, the intensity is different, the tactical scheme is different.

"Here we have six players playing in the midfield and everyone can be the starters. [At] Liverpool the structure and the training center are fantastic and the fans are also special. I hope it’s a beginning of a good story for me."
