Brazil boss Tite says that he is looking for a convincing performance as well as a victory when his team take on Saudi Arabia later today. The Seleção coach takes his team to Riyad for a prestige friendly.

“I’m a dreamer. I like to convince to win. What is convincing? It is playing well. Otherwise, it is an illusory thing: the result of the result. I know you have to win and Saudi Arabia, too. What do I care for? A great individual and collective performance.”

The Brazil boss was complimentary of his opponents too, “Saudi Arabia has a mobile team, fast and with technical quality. It has interesting offensive and defensive transitions. It is not a static team, which increases the difficulty in marking players.”

But Tite insists this match and Tuesday’s friendly against Argentina are a chance to experiment, “We will have the opportunity to look at some players with different tactical structures.

“It is very difficult in a short time to get a sense of organization. Let’s keep the basic structure and provide opportunities for athletes to develop their best. The structure will provide support for players like Ederson and Fabinho to play well.”
