Tottenham winger Lucas Moura has been called into the Brazil squad for friendlies against Argentina and Saudi Arabia in Saudi Arabia.
Moura is called after Grêmio forward Everton pulled out due to an injury. It’s Lucas’ first call since 2016, when he was called up once, having been called up twice in 2015.
He fell out of favour at Paris Saint Germain after the signings of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, but the player has rebuilt his career at Spurs.
He joined the club in January and has begun this season in excellent form, playing off Harry Kane in the Tottenham forward line.
Brazil play Saudi Arabia on Thursday evening, before playing Argentina on Tuesday. Both matches will take place in Saudi Arabia.
