‘It’s An Honour to be Called for the National Team’ Says Malcom
Barcelona winger Malcom says it is an honour to have been called into the Brazil squad for October friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Argentina.
Tite opted to call the ex-Bordeaux winger for the friendlies for the first ever time. Malcom joined Barcelona from the Ligue 1 club during the summer.
“For any Brazilian player it's a dream to play for the national team, to represent your country is an honour,” he told Barcelona TV.
“Im very happy, I didn’t expect it now but it's very gratifying and I hope to be able to give a lot of joy to the Brazilian fans.
“I also want to thank my family and all those who have supported me, and to Barça for opening the doors.” Fellow Barca colleagues Arthur and Philippe Coutinho have also been called.
