Brazil boss Tite says the mood is good inside the Seleção camp following Wednesday’s 2-0 win over Serbia, which has set up a last 16 tie against Mexico. Tite is relaxed but says part of his job to keep the mood in check.

After joking that he would allow himself a caipirinha following Wednesday’s win, Tite said, “The World Cup is made up of human relationships, you have to feel how the dressing room is established, how the players interact, the responsibility, the joy, the pride, you try to balance things out.

"If you're hyper you try to slow it down, if you're a bit low you try to hype it up. In terms of the emotion of the team, there is still more to grow. Comparatively speaking, they have grown in those three matches. From here, it is only up.

"I try to challenge the players. If they have reached a standard I challenge them to grow even more because you never know. You never know where the team can go. It's a short tournament and mentally it's really draining."
