Brazil forward Neymar returned to full training on Wednesday, after footage emerged of him limping away from the Tuesday afternoon session with a sore foot.
Neymar broke his metatarsal back in February but recovered in time for the tournament. However, he left Tuesday’s session after hobbling his way through a simple passing drill.
He appeared to have trouble with the same foot that he broke three months ago. Neymar was fouled ten times during Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Switzerland.
But the PSG man took part in full training on Wednesday and ought to be fit enough to start Friday’s Group E clash with Costa Rica in St. Petersburg.
His teammate Philippe Coutinho played down the severity of the injury in his Tuesday press conference.
“I saw the same thing you saw. I haven't talked to him. It happened almost at the end of practice. I think he felt something but that's normal."
