Alisson Wants Future Resolved Before World Cup
Roma goalkeeper Alisson says that he wants to resolve his future before the first match of the World Cup, otherwise he will put talks on hold until after the tournament is over.
Alisson has flown to Russia with Brazil amid interest from Real Madrid and Liverpool, who both want to buy him from Roma.
But the Seleção number 1 says that talks will have to accelerate quickly before Brazil’s match with Switzerland on Sunday, otherwise he will put talks on ice.
“I think if it works out, yes, before the World Cup, that's what I want too,” he told reporters after Brazil’s 3-0 win over Austria on Sunday.
“To be honest, I left the responsibility for all negotiations with my agent. If it is not resolved until the first game, it will be only after the World Cup. My thinking is 100% here.
“There are some possibilities, we are working on all of them, together with Roma, respecting the club. Let's see if anything happens during this week.”
