Brazil Will Love ‘Incredible’ Anfield, Says Liverpool Legend
Liverpool legend Ian Rush says that Anfield and Brazil will experience a mutual admiration, when the Seleção take on Croatia at Anfield on June 3 rd .
Brazil will play the first of their World Cup warm up matches at Liverpool’s famous stadium, before moving onto Vienna to play Austria a week later.
Reds legend Ian Rush says Brazil and Liverpool fans will get on very well when they come together for this match.
“The way Liverpool have been playing this season, it’s almost been like watching Brazil, but it will be very exciting to have the Brazilians at Anfield and for Liverpool supporters to see this great footballing country try to entertain the fans,” he said.
“Playing at Anfield is special and Firmino will be telling his teammates that it’s a special atmosphere any time you walk out there.
“Seeing Anfield empty gives you goose bumps and when it’s a full house with everyone singing, it’s incredible.”
