Brazil’s medical staff say that Neymar is ahead of schedule in his return from injury. The PSG forward broke his metatarsal in late February and has been sidelined ever since.

However, he is in full training with his Seleção teammates as they prepare for this summer’s World Cup and he could play in the warm-up friendly against Croatia at Anfield on June 3 rd .

“He's regaining his usual movements bit by bit,” explained team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar. "The next step is full group training and then play games. Everything is being done for him to feel at ease."

"His development is better than expected," trainer Fabio Mahseredjian told journalists. “He trains every day.”
