Brazil coach Tite admits he had some sleepless nights in the build-up to naming his final 23 man squad for this summer’s World Cup.

The Brazil coach says he has not been sleeping well recently and that there are many factors in deciding which players will be called.

“No, I cannot sleep. The expectation is high, I am human, I am not superman. It creates a whole expectation, I am looking after the players’ expectations, a dream, the responsibility that I have.

“There were many doubts. Sometimes the decision on a player depends on the model, the way the team acts, what I believe, what the technical committee believes. Sometimes it's his technical momentum, solidity during a high level season.

“At the World Cup the moment is the maximum, mentally you have to be very strong, and this solidity in the physical, technical and tactical aspect has to be considered.”
