Richarlison Wins Watford’s Young Player of the Year
Watford striker Richarlison has been voted the club’s Young Player of the Year at The Hornets’ awards ceremony last night.
Richarlison joined the club from Fluminense last August and his early season performances have drawn the attention of clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal.
The 21-year old nearly joined Ajax Amsterdam, but was persuaded by former boss Marco Silva to join the Hertfordshire side. He has scored 5 goals this season.
Richarlison’s compatriot Huerelho Gomes won ‘Performance of the Season’ for his display against West Ham United earlier in the campaign.
