Bordeaux winger Malcom says that he has an agreement with Bordeaux to let him leave the club thissummer- and he will be able to choose who he joins.
The Brazilian was subject to interest from Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the January transferwindow, but the Ligue 1 club repelled all bids.
Malcom says that he agreed to stay with Bordeaux for the remainder of the season, on theunderstanding that the club would not stand in the way of a summer transfer.
"Yes, there was a promise that I will be negotiating in June," Malcom told Brazilian outlet UOLEsporte. "I will choose the team, and Bordeaux will let me go."
He added: "I already said that I would have liked to leave this winter to meet new challenges. But Imust also remember that Bordeaux helped me a lot.
"I gave my word to Bordeaux that I will continue [with the club] to be able to have more time tochoose my future club. These next three or four months will make a big difference."
