Richarlison Wants To Improve Record Against the Big Clubs
Watford forward Richarlison says that he wants to improve his goalscoring record against the biggerclubs in the Premier League. The Brazilian was seen in tears when he was substituted duringWatford’s 4-1 win over Chelsea last week.
The 20 year old says that his frustration was, in part, because he wants to start proving himself withgoals against the top 6, “I’m missing a goal against the big clubs. I already have assists, I’ve hadvictories, but I couldn’t score a goal yet.
“When I saw the substitution board, I was very sad. I was feeling like I was going to score a goal. Likeit or not, it’s against Chelsea, a team that plays in the Champions League, which is always fighting forthe title. We want to show our work.”
However, the player is positive about how things have gone since moving to England fromFluminense in August, “I’ve experienced emotions in those six months. Many did not believe that Iwould adapt to English football.
“I ended up coming, scoring goals, making assists, winning man of the match. That even caught Tite’sattention. I even heard from his mouth that they were watching me. So I’m going to continue givingmy all so that when I get to the Seleção I can do my best.”
