Richarlison Explains Tears at Being Subbed Off Against Chelsea
Watford forward Richarlison has explained why he cried when he was substituted in theHornets’ 4-1 demolition of Chelsea on Monday night.
The Brazilian was substituted on 64 minutes with Watford leading 1-0. A flurry of late goalseventually saw the home side prosper 4-1.
Richarlison was filmed in tears on the bench shortly after being removed from the action bynew Watford boss Javier Gracia.
“I was crying because I wanted to play and help by team-mate, but in the end the guy thatentered the pitch did the job well so it's all okay,” he explained to ESPN Brasil post match.
