Ronaldinho has reiterated that he is settled at the moment, but would not commit himself to staying with the Barca for the rest of his career.

In the past, Ronaldinho has said that he would be willing to extend his current deal until 2014, despite continuing rumours about Milan’s interest in him.

That now appears to have changed as he adopted a cautious tone when stating that life at Barca is currently to his satisfaction.

“At the moment I am fine here, but in the future anything can happen,” the former Gremio forward told Brazilian magazine Placar.

“I have a contract until 2010 and I am moving towards that. My duty is to play football. As long as I am happy here, I shall stay.

“But about the future, nobody can predict anything.”

In another tilt of his head towards Serie A, Ronaldinho then explained that he could play in any league in the world and does not believe that the Italian game would be too hard for him.

“I do not think that the game is more difficult there,” he continued. “After a period of adaptation, a player can play anywhere in the world.”
