Richarlison Reveals Luiz and Willian Friendship
Watford forward Richarlison has revealed that Chelsea’s Brazilian duo David Luiz andWillian have been helping him to settle into life in London.
The 20 year old joined the Hornets from Fluminense in August, where Watford goalkeeperHuerelho Gomes has acted as a kind of mentor.
But in an interview with the Evening Standard, Richarlison says that the friendship ofChelsea pair Willian and David Luiz has been equally important to him.
“My family is not here so we get together and are always having barbecues at Luiz's home.We go on the PlayStation and I play as Watford, they play as Chelsea, and I always beatthem!
"We go out to restaurants in London too. I've gone on the London Eye with them, seen BigBen and things like that. They help me a lot and give lots of advice on how to live here.”
Richarlison was part of the Watford side that beat Chelsea 4-1 at Vicarage Road on Mondayevening. He says that Willian in particular has been giving him on field tips too.
“He is always suggesting what type of plays I should try or what I can do better to score.
Thekeepers are very big here and Willian says there is a particular way to score against them.
“He shows me videos, telling me what positions I should take up, how to be intelligent on thepitch, how to move around. It is almost like he is my manager!
"My professional career has only been going for three years and I have to learn from playerslike Willian and Luiz. People who have played at the World Cup."
