‘Coutinho Won’t Be Replaced In This Window’ Affirms Klopp

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says that the club will not look to replace Philippe Coutinho
during the January transfer window. The Brazilian joined Barcelona earlier this month for
£114m.
But Klopp says the Reds won’t look for a direct replacement prior to tomorrow night’s
transfer deadline. “Philippe Coutinho is not to be replaced in this transfer window,” said
Klopp ahead of Tuesday’s clash with Huddersfield.
“We have to stop thinking about it. It’s not about replacing anybody. It’s about using our own
opportunities, tools, players, tactics, all that stuff. We need results to reach our targets but
the solution is not out there in the transfer market.
“We have to use our players. Long-term we will do a lot (in the transfer window). In the short
term, I don’t think we will do a lot.”
