This weekend saw the finalists of the major state championships decided.
In The Paulistão Santos will face São Caetano, who despite being relegated from the top division of the national league shocked São Paulo with a 4-1 win over the weekend making it 5-2 on aggregate.
Santos failed to score in either leg of their semi-final against Bragantino but previous form means the 0-0 scoreline is enough to book their place in the final.
The São Paulo Football Federation announced today that the game will be held over two legs at the Morumbi stadium on April 29th and May 6th.

The Maracanã will host the Carioca final as Botafogo take on Taça Guanabara winners Flamengo on April 29th and May 6th.
The Rio Grande do Sul final will be contested by Gremio who over came a 3-0 defeat to beat Caxias 4-3 on agregate, and Juventude who beat Veranopolis 3-2 over two legs .
