Liverpool left-back Alberto Moreno has paid tribute to teammate Philippe Coutinho. Moreno was part of Liverpool’s 3-3 draw with his former club Sevilla in the Champions League last night. The Reds had led 3-0 at half time in Andalusia.

In an interview with Marca, the Spaniard took time to sing the praises of Philippe Coutinho, his Brazilian teammate, “What I think is that I wouldn’t like to face Mane, or Salah, or Coutinho, or Firmino,” the full-back said.

“For me Phil is top, top, top and very young. People just watch him play, but I see him training and I can say he does things that I’ve never seen. There are times when we ask: ‘How did you do that?’ I hope he’s close to me all my life.”
