Brazil coach Tite has urged his star player Neymar Junior not to respond to the provocation of opponents. Neymar has a chequered disciplinary past due to his reaction to rotational fouling.

He was sent off for Paris Saint Germain during their 2-2 draw with Marseilles last week and Tite says he has spoken with the player about ignoring the provocation of opposition players.

Tite told TV show Bem Amigos, “I told Neymar that your rivals will racially abuse you and even curse your mother. But do not fall for their provocation.

“They do this on purpose. You have to do what you do best, ignore their provocation and show them your football.”

Neymar is part of the Brazil squad that will take on Japan in Lille and England at Wembley next month.
