Brazil have confirmed that they will play England in a friendly on 14th November at Wembley Stadium. England confirmed their qualification for the 2018 World Cup with a 1-0 win over Slovenia on Tuesday night.

As such, they do not require a playoff to qualify. Brazil play Japan in Lille on November 10th and then travel to London to meet England on 14th November as part of both team’s preparations for next summer’s World Cup.

The teams last met in the summer of 2013, as they played out a 2-2 draw in the Maracanã. The sides have met 25 times before, with the Seleção winning 11 to England’s 10. Tite is keen for his side to test themselves against European opposition in the build up to Russia 2018.
