Brazilian forward Neymar Junior has been shortlisted for FIFA’s Best award, alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Neymar left Barcelona in a world record £198m transfer to Paris Saint Germain this summer. His Brazil side have also qualified for the World Cup in Russia with games to spare.
The Brazilian featured on a list of 55 nominees, now whittled down to three. The winner will be announced at a ceremony in London on 23rd October.
Neymar won the Copa del Rey with Barca and inspired one of the Champions League’s greatest ever comebacks, as Barca overturned a four goal deficit against his new club Paris Saint Germain back in March.
