Arsenal defender Gabriel is all set to complete a £10m switch to La Liga side Valencia. The Brazilian was pictured landing at Valencia airport on Thursday to undergo a medical and complete the formalities on a transfer in the region of £10m.
Gabriel joined the Gunners in January 2015 from Villarreal, but has failed to establish himself as a first choice player in two and a half years in North London. He has also struggled to master the language.
Arsenal currently have a 33 man squad and need to trim it ahead of the new season and Gabriel has been considered expendable after an offer came in from Valencia. Gabriel won two FA Cups in his two and a half years in England.
